Grinding
Do not grind new covers before die-cutting. And don’t grind too much. It can make the covers come loose from the cylinder.
The frequency of grinding is mainly determined by the operator, the complexity of the die cut form, and the quality of the cardboard. In general, loss of accuracy is an indication for a damaged anvil cover surface. It might be the time to start grinding to get an even surface.

Moca Free
MOCA is used by many as a hardener for polyurethane prepolymers. Since we started the production of anvil covers in 1965, we have always used a system, called MDI, that does not use MOCA. So our anvil covers are 100% free of the chemical substrate MOCA.
This choice is made in an effort to minimize the potential health risks associated with MOCA exposure for our employees and customers worldwide.
